Murphy & King Announces New Associate, Atty. Andrea Brier

Boston, MA – (August 2, 2016) –Murphy & King, Professional Corporation announced today that Andrea Gail Brier has joined the firm as an Associate in the Bankruptcy and Financial Restructuring Practice. In that role, Ms. Brier will assist the practice in representing debtors, creditors and creditors’ committees, estate fiduciaries, and investors in formal insolvency proceedings and out-of-court workouts throughout the United States. Prior to joining Murphy & King, Ms. Brier was a Business Solutions, Restructuring and Bankruptcy Associate at Proskauer Rose, LLP and an associate in the Bankruptcy and Restructuring department at Dewey & Leboeuf, LLP in New York, NY. She has also worked as a Special Assistant District Attorney at the Office of the District Attorney for the Eastern District, based in Salem, Massachusetts.

Ms. Brier earned her Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School, Master of Studies from Oxford University, and her Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania. She resides in Boston with her husband.
