Join us for a magical evening of dancing to the top hits of the chanson française genre to support cultural programming! Saturday, June 13.
Event Description
To conclude the 2015 Mosaïque Music Event Series, The French Cultural Center is thrilled to welcome the sensational Oh Là Là jazz band at our Parisian Soirée with the Legends of Chanson Française! Led by native Parisian singer and Berklee College of Music graduate Marie Michèle, Oh Là Là was recently nominated one of the top five jazz ensembles in New York City by CBS New York.
Come dance the night away with us to the top hits of the chanson française genrefrom the 1920s through 1970s, including songs made popular by several different internationally acclaimed singers such as Charles Aznavour, Serge Gainsbourg, Edith Piaf, and Charles Trenet – just to name a few! Famous American jazz standards inspired by the City of Light will also be performed.
French drinks, hors d’œuvres and desserts are complimentary for all guests throughout the soirée. The evening will also feature a silent auction with alluring prizes. Proceeds will support the Center’s Mosaïque initiative for expanded and exceptional cultural programming for the Greater Boston Community.

What is Mosaïque?
In 2011, the French Cultural Center established the Mosaïque initiative to provide essential support for new cultural programming—today and for years to come. Cultural programs are at the core of the Center’s mission to promote the vibrant growth of the French language and Francophone cultures in New England. By investing in Mosaïque, individual and institutional donors will help to ensure ongoing programmatic innovation, secure the Center’s long-term fiscal health, and preserve the legacy of our visionary founders, Général Georges Doriot and his wife Edna Doriot.
