Posternak Blankstein & Lund LLP Welcomes Sanjeev K. Mahanta as Associate in Intellectual Property and Technology Department

Posternak Blankstein & Lund LLP announced Sanjeev K. Mahanta has joined the firm’s Intellectual Property and Technology Department as an Associate. Sanjeev’s practice focuses on the prosecution of U.S. and international patent applications, and related matters such as opinions and IP licensing
“Sanjeev’s professional background spans a variety of fields within the technology industry, including biotechnology, materials science, nanotechnology and drug delivery,” said David Barbash, Managing Partner at Posternak. “His experience in academia and research will prove valuable to our firm and in assisting our clients.”
Prior to joining Posternak, Sanjeev worked as Associate Attorney at the Boston law firm Cesari and McKenna, LLP. He received his B.S. in Chemistry from Guwahtai University in India in 1983, his Ph.D. in biochemistry from the Indian Institute of Science in 1992 and his J.D. from New England Law in Boston in 2011.
