The Quarry Hosts 2nd Annual Family Gingerbread House Decorating Benefit to Support The Magical Moon Foundation

Hingham, MA - Always a popular holiday activity, the Quarry Restaurant’s second annual gingerbread house decorating event is Sunday, December 13 from 12:30 to 2:30 pm and supports local cancer charity, The Magical Moon Foundation. Inspired by Quarry’s Proprietor Julie Luduc’s two-generation family tradition, children and their families reserve their house baked, pre-assembled house for fun-filled decorating at The Quarry with candy and frosting. Reservations are required (781-340-7300) and all proceeds benefit the Marshfield-based non-profit.

About The Quarry: Located in Hingham, MA near Route 3, South Shore Proprietors Ron and Julie Leduc and Executive Chef/Partner Greg Jordan bring new luster to The Quarry’s historic edifice and grounds at which stood a working quarry. Today this heritage inspires its ‘rustic meets refined’ menus within the 135-seat restaurant with dinner, patio, bar and private dining spaces. Reservations and catering at 781-340-7300. Directions: 415 Whiting Street/Route 53 in Hingham, MA. Hours Monday-Thursday 4-9:30 p.m.; Friday 4-11 p.m., Saturday 1-11 p.m., Sunday Brunch 10-3 p.m. Dinner 3-9 p.m. www.quarryhingham.com.
