The Boston Center for Adult Education (BCAE) is hosting a new series, “Rarely Seen: Boston’s
Historic Treasures.” The three class series aims to offer Bostonians a glimpse
into their city’s mysterious and intriguing history through visiting three
prominent historic locations.
On Thursday, July 24th, 2014 from 5:30PM to 7:00PM, the first session will be held at The Norman B. Leventhal Map
Center. This informational
session will offer participants the chance to get an up-close look at treasures that are not on display for public—including Dutch
atlases from the age of exploration and a Revolutionary-era powder horn with a
Bunker Hill map carved into its side.
