‘Rarely Seen’ Historic Tour Series

The Boston Center for Adult Education (BCAE) is hosting a new series, “Rarely Seen: Boston’s
Historic Treasures.” The three class series aims to offer Bostonians a glimpse
into their city’s mysterious and intriguing history through visiting three
prominent historic locations.

On Thursday, August 14th, 2014 from 5:30PM to 7:00PM, the second class will be led by Historic New England at the Otis House. This class includes a tour of the elegantly furnished Beacon Hill residence where students can browse the unique collection
of personal photographs, prints, architectural drawings, and ephemera from the Otis House’s vast library and archives. Attendees will also get an exclusive tour of the
third floor servant quarters that is not usually open to the public.
