Restaurants Receive Payments From Marathon Patrons

The Boston Herald reports those who were in nearby restaurants at the time of the bombings are making an effort to pay their tabs.

When the bombings near the finish line of the Boston Marathon took place, hundreds of Back Bay restaurant and bar patrons were forced to evacuate the area, leaving behind thousands in unpaid tabs.

According to the Boston Herald, those patrons have been making an effort over the last month to pay back those bills.

Tony Castagnozzi, owner of the Rattlesnake Bar, told the newspaper he's recouped about $1,200 from the over $3,000 in unpaid tabs at the time his establishment was evacuated.
