Rodney Strong Wine Dinner at Davio's Boston

Davio's Boston Hosts Rodney Strong Winery for a Culinary Wine Tour with Special Guest and Winemaker Greg Morthole

WHAT: Join Davio's Northern Italian Steakhouse in Boston, MA for a culinary wine tour of Sonoma County’s Rodney Strong Winery, named by Wine Enthusiast as American Winery of the Year in 2013. Drink along with enologist-turned-winemaker, Greg Morthole, who says, “Making the Reserve and Single-Vineyard wines at Rodney Strong is an honor.” With his energetic style, Morthole will illustrate to guests how enjoyable the art of winemaking can be.

Designed for oenophiles of all levels, the five-course prix fixe dinner with wine pairings, hand selected by Morthole, will feature regionally inspired foods prepared by Executive Chef Eric Swartz such as Egg Tagliatelle, Braised Beef Cheeks, Shaved Pecorino and American Lamb Chops, Braised Lentils, Cipollini Onions, Baby Carrots. Guests will experience both the familiar and the unexpected from this acclaimed winery.

This intimate journey will be held at Davio's Boston on Tuesday, March 15th, 2016 starting at 6:00pm. For $95 per person (exluding tax and gratuity), guests will be treated to a five-course dinner paired with carefully selected wines to accompany their dining experience (see menu below).
