Studio Tour with Mitch Ryerson

Join The Society of Arts and Crafts and furniture maker Mitch Ryerson for an exciting tour of his Allston workshop as a closing program for the current exhibition. The tour will meet in the SAC Gallery for a Curator’s talk with Luiza deCamargo, then travel by van to Ryerson’s studio, where he will share his experiences and studio practices.

Mitch Ryerson is a professor of Furniture Design, a joint certificate program between the Massachusetts College of Art and Design and North Bennett Street School. His work has been exhibited widely can be found in prestigious collections such at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, the Fuller Craft Museum, Brockton, MA, and the Mint Museum, Charlotte, NC. You can also see his work in playgrounds throughout Cambridge, and community benches in Jamaica Plain, Forest Hill Cemetery, and beyond.

$20 students / $30 members / $40 non-members
