Third Thursday

As a part of the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum’s Third Thursdays on May 19 from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., join us for an evening of art and music exploring the theme of “A New Light.” Shift your perspective this spring. Soak up the shadowy ambiance of the palace at night, then brighten up with hands-on art making in the studio. Enjoy hands-on artmaking, live music, and conversation in the Museum’s new and historic spaces. Event includes a cash wine bar and Café G is open for snacks, dinner, and drinks. The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum - a work of art in totality - is a highly personal installation of Isabella Gardner’s collection, intended to fire the imagination of all who visit. Modeled after a Venetian palazzo, the galleries surround a verdant Courtyard and are home to masters such as Rembrandt, Raphael, Titian, Michelangelo, Whistler, and Sargent.
