TITLE Boxing Club Opens on Newbury Street

New boutique boxing, kickboxing concept offers members an intense workout and life changing experience.

Newbury Street is now home to the fastest growing franchise in America. TITLE Boxing Club, a boutique-fitness brand that specializes in boxing and kickboxing workouts, opened its newest location on July 11 and offers explosive, total body boxing and kickboxing classes that energize, strengthen and challenge members.

The sleek, modern 4,350-square foot club located at 338 Newbury Street features brick-lined walls and lighting that gives the location an “old-school” vibe. A ‘trainers circle’ allows members to sit and wrap their hands and warm up before class in a semi-circle design surrounded by benches. 100-pound heavy bags hang from the ceiling and take a beating from every day people looking to knock out stress and engage in an intense, fun and effective workout.

After opening Boston’s first TITLE Boxing Club location in March of 2015 at 226 Causeway Street in North Station, owner and Waterfront resident Mike Musto quickly secured the spot as the second highest performing club across the United States. Fueled by a common passion for the life-changing effects of TITLE Boxing Club, Musto brought on COO Cam Andrews to operate the Newbury Street location. Charging forward full throttle by targeting high-traffic shopping neighborhoods, Musto signed a lease for a third location in Somerville at Assembly Row and expects the club to open early next year.

“Since first joining TITLE Boxing Club, Cam and I saw the vast potential to develop the brand’s presence in Boston and that vision has not only come to fruition but we’ve exceeded our own expectations due to extreme support from our members and the community,” said Musto, Owner of three TITLE Boxing Club locations in Greater Boston. “It’s hard to not be inspired by the total mind and body transformation seen in our members at the North Station Club and we’re beyond excited to introduce the workout to frequent visitors of Newbury Street.”

TITLE Boxing Club does not promote actual fighting in its clubs, but rather encourages all participants at different fitness levels to workout at their own pace. The 30, 60, and 75-minute trainer-led workouts take place in a hip, high-energy fitness studio and combine bouts of intense cardio and boxing exercises with short periods of active rest. The workout offers members a safe and effective, interval-based workout program, which combines bouts of intense cardio, boxing and kickboxing exercises on heavy bags, with short periods of active rest, followed by a core workout with medicine balls. Along with the physical results, the concept offers clients intense emotional and spiritual changes as well. Members leave each session with new-found confidence and empowerment.
