BOSTON…Independent Toth+Co has taken home three Gold Awards from the 55th Annual Francis W. Hatch Awards, presented by The Ad Club. The awards honored work created for client Hickey Freeman in the Identity Systems, Company Literature and Logo categories. Toth+Co also brought home a Silver, Bronze and three Merit Awards for work developed for clients Park Hyatt and Hickey Freeman in the Company Literature, Consumer Magazine Campaign, Newspaper Campaign, Consumer Magazine Spread and Newspaper Single Entry categories.
Working closely with the Hickey team, Toth started at its identity - with an updated label, replacing the former burgundy background with a gold color scheme, inspired by tailor’s tape, and providing a necessary pop of color at retail. Toth also tweaked the logo to make it more contemporary without abandoning its long-standing history.
After six months of revealing and defining the Hickey Freeman Brand DNA®, dusting off its identity and integrated marketing materials (hang tags, labels, swatch books, ecommerce and retail collateral), Toth+Co launched a spring campaign in March 2015.
