Boston Mayor Thomas Menino and PGA Tour star Hunter Mahan fresh off this weekend's Deutsche Bank Championship, teamed up with Sun Life Financial Tuesday in the "Drive to End Alzheimer's."
The Mayor and golf pro, along with some local media personalities, had a putting and closest-to-the-pin chipping contest on the Common. While side bets were placed and jokes were made about Menino's golf game, awareness was raised about the fight against Alzheimer's. Redbones, Kick-Ass Cupcakes, and Polar beverages also sponsored the event.
