Vocal Jazz Festival

The Vintage Vocals Ensemble, directed by David Scott, an associate professor in the Voice Department, performs music from the golden age of vocal groups. Songs made popular by such groups as the Andrews Sisters and the Modernaires will be represented as well as contemporary re-creations of the big-band vocal style.

The Berklee Vocal Jazz Ensembles, directed by Ned Rosenblatt, an associate professor in the Voice Department, perform music from traditional swing and Latin genres to contemporary funk and pop, encompassing selections from such groups as the Manhattan Transfer, New York Voices, and Take 6 as well as original arrangements.
