Women Cosplayers Sweep Awards at Boston Comic Con Costume Contest at Faneuil Hall Marketplace

The 4th annual Comic Con Costume Parade, hosted by Boston Comic Con cosplay impresario Pat Covey, was held today at Faneuil Hall Marketplace. Comic fans from all over Massachusetts came dressed as their favorite superhero of comic book character to parade around Quincy Market. The Judges, Jim Talbot, co-founder of Boston Comic Con, Castro Arboite, winner of last year’s contest, Jesse McDade, Newbury Comics and Christ Sherman, Director of Operations at Faneuil Hall Marketplace, determined the top three adult winners as well as the top kids’ winner. First place went to Cindy Tran of Lowell, Mass. As “Postman Link” from the Legend of Zelda series; Second place went to Kelsey Endter of Boston as “Supergirl”; Third place went to Jennifer Williams of Salem, Mass. As “Judy Hopps” from Zootopia; and the kids winner was four year old Niah Roy from Winthrop, Mass. As “Hit Girl” a Marvel Character. Boston Comic Con will take place at the Seaport World Trade Center August 12 to August 14.
