1 Hospitalized In Rollover Cape Cod Crash

Route 6 was closed in Harwich after a rollover crash on Tuesday. One person was flown to a Boston hospital by helicopter.

HARWICH, MA — A portion of Route 6 in Harwich was closed on Tuesday after a rollover crash sent one person to the hospital, the Harwich Fire Department said.

First responders were called to Route 6 just west of Exit 85 around 4 p.m. on Tuesday. Officials said one person was ejected from their vehicle during the crash.

The patient was evaluated and it was determined that Boston MedFlight was needed to transport them to a trauma center, fire officials said.

They were transported to Cape Cod Regional Technical High School where the fire department has a landing zone. Care was then transferred to Boston Medflight.
