$10 Million Winning Lottery Ticket Sold In Hyannis

West Main Gas in Hyannis received a $50,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

HYANNIS, MA — A gas station in Hyannis sold a $10 million-winning lottery ticket, a spokesperson for the Massachusetts Lottery announced.

West Main Gas at 577 West Main St. sold the winning ticket on June 22. The prize was claimed by Scout Trust of Boston.

The lottery game was the "$10,000,000 Mega Fortune" instant ticket, and it cost $20 to play.

The trust, represented by trustee Matthew Hillery, chose the cash option for its prize and received $6.5 million after taxes.
