2 Barnstable Men Arrested After Trying To Rob CVS Pharmacy: PD
A pharmacist at the Hyannis store on North Street told officers the men tried to steal Gabapentin through the drive-thru, police said.

HYANNIS, MA — Two Barnstable men were arrested Tuesday after police said they tried to rob the CVS Pharmacy on North Street.
Nicolas Famigliette, 35, of Hyannis, and Luke Matthews, 42, of Centerville, were charged with attempt to commit armed robbery. Famigiliette was also charged with carrying a dangerous weapon (spring-loaded knife).
Around 9:30 a.m., officers were called to the pharmacy after police said the men tried to rob the drive-thru. A pharmacist told police a man in a blue Lexus pointed what may have been a fake gun at him and demanded Gabapentin, police said. The pharmacist shut the window, and police said the suspects then parked in the CVS parking lot.

Police said they arrested Famigliette and asked Matthews to come into the station for questioning. He was arrested there.
Both men were arraigned in Barnstable District Court Tuesday.
