2 Injured In Head-On Collision In Centerville
Medical flights were not available because of bad weather, so both drivers were driven to South Shore Hospital, a level two trauma center.
CENTERVILLE, MA — Two people were injured in a head-on collision on Falmouth Road in Centerville, fire officials said.
The crash happened at 7:47 p.m., Wednesday, in the 2,000th block of Falmouth Road. Emergency officials arrived to smoke coming out of one of the vehicles. Both cars sustained heavy damage, and firefighters needed hydraulic tools to extricate one of the drivers, fire officials said.
Medical flights were not available because of bad weather, so both drivers were taken by ambulance to South Shore Hospital in Weymouth, a level two trauma center. The extent of their injuries was not immediately made clear.

Falmouth Road was closed in both directions, while emergency officials responded to the two-car crash.
