2 Men with Pellet Gun, Crack, Heroin Charged in Hyannis Heist: Police

Two men armed with a pellet gun committed a robbery on West Main Street in Hyannis last week, police said.

It happened on Wed., June 3 at about 7:45 p.m., police said. Responding officers pulled over a vehicle with Fernandes and Garate inside, police said. They found the pellet gun in the back seat—along with crack cocaine and heroin, poilice said.

Fernandes was charged with unlawful possession of ammunition, carrying a dangerous weapon, crack possession with intent to distribute, and heroin possession.
Garate was charged with armed robbery and assault and battery to collect money.
