4 On Cape Suffer Life-Threatening Injuries When Car Strikes Tree
Two people were taken to Cape Cod Hospital, while the other two victims were airlifted to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
HARWICH, MA — Four people suffered life-threatening injuries after the car they were in struck a tree on Chatham Road.
The crash happened around 2 p.m., Monday at the intersection of Chatham Road and Old County Road. Harwich fire officials said two people of victims were outside the car, while the other two were trapped inside. Firefighters extricated those two victims. The car sustained significant damage.
Harwich fire officials called two medical helicopters and mutual aid from Dennis to help at the crash site.
