Authorities seized over $400,000 in a police sting at the Hyannis Friendly's.

Hyannis, MA — Authorities seized over $400,000 in a sting at the Hyannis Friendly's Monday.

Three men from New York and California were questioned in connection with the seizure but not arrested, police said.

The incident happened at the restaurant on Route 132 at about 4 p.m. as authorities from Barnstable police, State Police, and the Drug Enforcement Agency conducted surveillance. They said three men in a white sport utility vehicle entered Friendly's with a small bag. Police encountered the trio and said the suspects gave conflicting accounts as to why they were there.

Police said they found over $400,000 in backpacks in the vehicle.
