7 Hospitalized After Cape Cod Porch Collapses

MARSTONS MILLS, MA — Multiple people needed to be taken to an area hospital after a porch collapsed in Cape Cod over the weekend.

The Centerville-Osterville-Marstons Mills Fire Department said seven people were evaluated at the hospital after the porch collapsed at a home on Mountain Ash Road Saturday night.

Officials responded to the home just after 8:45 p.m. to confirm reports of the collapse. Though seven people were transported to the hospital from the scene, none suffered life-threatening injury, officials said.

Officials are continuing to investigate the cause of the collapse.
