80 Dolphins Stranded In Low Tide Off Cape Cod: Reports

WELLFLEET, MA — Animal welfare teams are scrambling to rescue more than 80 dolphins stranded in a low-tide area off the coast of Cape Cod, according to multiple reports Friday afternoon.

The massive pod of Atlantic White-sided dolphins was found near the Herring River at The Gut or Great Island in Wellfleet, WCVB reported.

A team of International Fund for Animal Welfare volunteers are working to determine how many dolphins can be saved and re-released, according to Cape Wide News.
