Adam Chaprales Launches State Representative Campaign

With family, friends, and supporters by his side, Adam Chaprales (R-Centerville) formally announced his candidacy for Massachusetts State Representative to represent the 2nd Barnstable District last week at his MassMutual Financial Group office off of Route 28 in Hyannis.  The district includes Barnstable Precincts 2-10 & 13 and Yarmouth Precincts 5 &6.

“I’m running for state representative, because I have passion for public service, and I believe one serves best by listening before acting on behalf of our community.  It will make us stronger,” Chaprales said in a statement.

Chaprales said for the last few years many of the district’s needs have not been met – residents are losing good jobs and replacing them with lower paying new ones.  He also noted that residents don’t feel safe with our pandemic drug problem and parents worry about their children’s education and future.  “We should have someone in state government who will listen to us, advocate for our needs, and will bring people together to solve problems,” he said.

“If elected as your state representative, I will work tirelessly with business and community leaders to create jobs, grow our economy, protect and promote more local aid for our schools and infrastructure, and demand our state government become transparent and accountable," Chaprales said.

Chaprales will be hosting his campaign kickoff party on Wednesday, March 26 at the Yarmouth House Restaurant, 335 Rte. 28 in West Yarmouth, beginning at 6 p.m. The event is open to the public, and donations will be accepted.
