Another Cape Cod Drive-In Opens This Weekend

YARMOUTH, MA — The comeback of drive-in movie theaters will continue on Cape Cod with the opening of the Yarmouth Drive-In on Sunday.

The 450-car theater scheduled showings for several classic films including "Jurassic Park," "Dirty Dancing," "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" and more. The opening week will feature nightly showings at 5:00 p.m. and 9 p.m.

5 p.m. - "Grease"

5 p.m. - "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids"

9 p.m. - "Field of Dreams"

July 16

5 p.m. - "Shrek"

9 p.m. - "Wayne's World"

July 17

5 p.m. - "Finding Nemo"

9 p.m. - "Dirty Dancing"

July 18

5 p.m. - "Cars"

9 p.m. - "Raiders of the Lost Ark"

July 19

5 p.m. - "Forrest Gump"

9 p.m. - "Remember the Titans"

Safety precautions were established at the drive-in amid the coronavirus pandemic. Each car will be given ample area in specially designed parking suites, allowing guests to keep social distance even with the doors open and windows down. Each parking suite will be separated by a small fence ensuring that no one crosses into your personal area.

Tickets start at $30 per car, and that includes entry for four people. Guests will be able to bring in as many as seven people as long as they purchase additional tickets at just $10 for each added guest. All tickets go on sale this Friday online and at the gate before each movie.
