Another Cape Cod Man Wins MA Lottery

A Cape resident is the second "World Poker Tour $1,000,000 Hold 'Em Poker" prize winner.

ORLEANS, MA – An Orleans man recently won $1 million in the Massachusetts State Lottery's "World Poker Tour $1,000,000 Hold ‘Em Poker" instant game. Wayne Murphy is the game's second million-dollar prize winner. He elected to receive a one-time cash payment of $650,000.

Murphy bought his ticket at the 7-Eleven on Cranberry Highway, which will receive a $10,000 bonus for the sale.

Three $1 million prizes remain in the "World Poker Tour $1,000,000 Hold ‘Em Poker" $5 instant game.

Murphy isn't the only Cape Cod resident to win big. Nantucket's Carlos Lemus recently won $4 million in the lottery's "100X" instant game.
