The County Commissioners meet weekly on Wednesdays, and other days as deemed necessary.

Pursuant to Article 3 – Executive Branch, Section 3-3 (e), Powers and Duties, of the Home Rule Charter, the County Commissioners file at least on a semi-annual basis a report with the Assembly of Delegates informing them of the financial and administrative condition of the County.

d. Motion to Convene in Executive Session Under M.G.L., Chapter 30A, Section 21(a) (1) for Review and Possible Vote of a Request from a County Employee that may include Discussion of Medical Issues Relating to the Employee, and to Reconvene in Open Session.

CONTRACTS

  • Execute the Subordination of HOME Mortgage in the amount of $10,000.00 for Sheila Parenteau.

BID AWARDS

  • Award a Bid for a qualified contractor to assist the Department of Human Services in coordinating the “Massachusetts Opioid Abuse Prevention Collaborative” (MAOPC) to Jessica McHugh as the responsive, responsible bidder offering the most advantageous proposal.
  • Award a Bid for the Supply and Delivery of Water Chemicals for Water Departments in Barnstable County for the period of July 1, 2015 – June 30, 2016 to the following vendors as the responsive, responsible bidders offering the lowest prices: Borden & Remington Corp., Univar USA Inc., George S. Coyne Chemical Co., Inc., NBC Distributors.

PERSONNEL MATTERS

  • Approve the request from Stephan Wollenburg, Cape Light Compact Energy Efficiency/Power Supply Planner for unpaid vacation leave of up to 10 day, effective June 1, 2015.
  • Approve the request from Paul Niedzwiecki, Cape Cod Commission to carry over thirty (30) vacation days into FY16 due to work overload.
  • Approve the FY15 Vacation Carry Over Request for Barnstable County Employees.

  • Approve the appointment of Kathy Quatromoni as representative and Michael Trudeau as alternate to the Cape & Islands District Attorney’s Office Consortia, Barnstable County Health and Human Services Advisory Council, for the term of October 17, 2013 – May 31, 2018.
  • Approve the appointment of Paula Schnepp as representative to the Cape & Islands Regional Network on Homelessness Consortia, Barnstable County Health and Human Services Advisory Council, for the term of October 17, 2013 – May 31, 2018.
  • Approve the appointment of Paul Melville as representative and Teriann Polumbo as alternate to the Cape Cod Family Resource Center – Family Continuity Consortia (New Consortia), Barnstable County Health and Human Services Advisory Council, for the term of October 17, 2013 – May 31, 2018.
