Barnstable County Deputy Sheriff Dies
Barnstable County Deputy Sheriff Jason Thomas had served in the department for more than 15 years.
BARNSTABLE, MA — Barnstable County Deputy Sheriff Jason Thomas has died, according to the county sheriff's office. Officals said Thomas death happened off duty. Thomas had served in the department for more than 15 years.
"With a heavy heart, we share the sad news of the off-duty passing of Deputy Sheriff Thomas ...," the sheriff office officials said in a statement. "He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all."
No further information was immedietely available. Funeral plans have yet to be announced.
