Barnstable County Government: Cape Cod Cooperative Extension Announces Upcoming ServSafe® Applied Food Safety Training On Cape Cod

By law, all foodservice locations must have at least one full-time food safety certified employee who is at least 18 years of age on staff.  ServSafe® courses have been developed by the educational foundation of the national restaurant association to train and certify personnel in the safe handling and service of food.

Two dates for certification classes are offered in either August or September. For those individuals seeking recertification, attendance is required for the second day only.

• Full Certification $175

Attendance on both days is required.

The course includes the book, practice exam, and current ServSafe® test.

• Recertification $75

Required attendance on second day only.

The course fee is non-refundable.
