Barnstable Election 2021: Candidates Night Approaching
The League of Women Voters of the Cape Cod Area will host a debate with the five candidates for Barnstable School Committee.

BARNSTABLE, MA — The Barnstable town election is less than two weeks away, but before voters head to the polls, they'll have an opportunity to see where the school committee candidates stand.
At 6:30 p.m., Thursday, the League of Women Voters of the Cape Cod Area will host a virtual debate with the five candidates for Barnstable School Committee. Incumbent Stephanie Ellis is seeking re-election, but Barbara Dunn isn't. Ellis will face four challengers for the two spots, including Peter Goode, Andre King, Sara Gonzalez and Linda Letourneau.
There will also be races for town council, housing authority and town clerk. But just one of the town council districts will see a contested race. That's Precinct 12, where incumbent Paula Schnepp will square off against Donald Lynde.
