According to unofficial vote totals from the town clerk's office, Trump lost support in Barnstable in 2020.
In 2016, he earned 11,195 votes compared to 10,824 votes in 2020. He won 42.4 percent in 2016 and 40 percent in 2020, in line with the statewide declining trend.
