Barnstable Election Results: New School Committee Members

Barnstable voters on Tuesday voted in three school committee members during the annual municipal election.

There were five candidates for three school committee seats. These were the unofficial vote totals (winners in bold):

• Christopher Joyce 1,699
• R. Patrick Murphy 1,410
• Michael Judge 1,037
• Nora Monteiro 725
• Peter Bertling 603

It was the only major contested race on Tuesday’s ballot.
