Barnstable High Hosting All Cape and Islands Music Festival
The Saturday festival is scheduled for 1 p.m. Tickets are $10 at the door.
BARNSTABLE, MA — Barnstable High School is hosting the annual All Cape and Islands High School Music Festival this weekend.
There will be three days of the festival, officials said.
Thursday afternoon and evening will feature rehearsals, and there will also be rehearsals during the school day on Friday. A Saturday morning rehearsal will lead into a 1 p.m. concert time.

Auditioned student musicians from Cape Cod, Nantucket, and Martha's Vineyard high schools are creating ensembles in the three days of rehearsals, and then presenting a 1 p.m. concert for the public at the BHS Performing Arts Center on Saturday.
"All schools are rebuilding and re-energizing their music programs, and the new energy is palpable," said officials from the BHS music department.
