Bomb Threat Forces Evacuation Of Barnstable Intermediate School
Students and staff were relocated to Barnstable High School while police investigated a bomb threat written on a school wall.
BARNSTABLE, MA — Barnstable Intermediate School was evacuated Tuesday morning after school officials found a bomb threat written on a hallway wall, according to police.
Just before 11 a.m., students and staff were relocated to the Barnstable High School auditorium while police investigated the threat. Police conducted a safety sweep of Barnstable Intermediate School with help from the Massachusetts State Police Bomb Squad and police K-9 teams.
Around 12:45 p.m., police and school officials determined it was safe for students and staff to return to Barnstable Intermediate School.

Police said they are still working to determine who wrote the bomb threat.
