Barnstable alerts residents to upcoming prescribed burn at the Hyannis Ponds.
BARNSTABLE, MA — The town of Barnstable is warning residents of a prescribed burn set for Oct. 7.
MassWildlife is conducting the burn at the Hyannis Ponds and is warning residents not to be alarmed by any smoke they may see.
Officials are also asking residents to pardon any inconvenience the burn may cause.
