Barnstable K9 Team Busts Car Theft Suspect
The suspect was able to outrun authorities for a short time but was eventually caught, police said.

A Barnstable K9 team tracked down a car theft suspect.
Taryn Tinti, 19, with no fixed address, allegedly broke into a vehicle on Grant Road in West Yarmouth early Saturday morning. The vehicle’s owner chased Tinti into the woods, police said.
Barnstable police K9 Officer Sean Roycroft arrived with his dog and tracked Tinti to a nearby condominium complex, where he was taken into custody.

Police said Tinti was likely involved in several more local car break-ins and may face more charges. He was charged with breaking and entering following his arrest Saturday.
