Barnstable Looking For Volunteers In School Superintendent Search
If you're passionate about Barnstable Public Schools, you might be a good fit to help the district find its next superintendent.
BARNSTABLE, MA — School officials in Barnstable are looking for community members to help the school district pick its next superintendent.
Barnstable Superintendent Meg Mayo-Brown told the school committee earlier this year that she will not seek a new contract when it expires on June 30, 2022. So members of the school committee will create the Superintendent Search Committee to help decide who will replace her.
The new committee will work with the town's search consultants to screen applicants, determine who will move on for interviews, conduct the interviews and recommend finalists to the school committee. School officials said search committee members must be collaborative, cooperative and be able to commit to the follow dates:
