Barnstable Man Charged in 2-Alarm Fire
A Barnstable man charged in connection with a two-alarm fire that burned several acres this week.
BARNSTABLE, MA — A Barnstable man was charged with negligence for causing a two-alarm fire in Sandwich that burned three acres this week.
The man, 22, was not identified.
The fire broke out Tuesday off Atkins Road.

A 27-year-old East Sandwich man was also charged with negligence.
"It was determined that an ignitable liquid was used to start the fire," police said in a statement. "Multiple fire agencies responded to assist in putting it out."
