Barnstable Memorial Day Parade 2017
The 2017 Barnstable Memorial Day Parade will be held Monday, May 29.
BARNSTABLE, MA — The 2017 Barnstable Memorial Day parade will be held Monday, May 29. The parade kicks off at 10 a.m. at the Centerville Library and proceeds down Main Street to Monument Square for a brief program. The parade then continues to Old Stage Road and then Beechwood Cemetery for the main program.

The program's keynote speaker is 1st Lieutenant Glen Beasley, who served in Vietnam and Cambodia as a platoon leader.

"The public is invited to bring pictures with them to the event of a family member, friend or acquaintance who has passed away and was a veteran," parade officials said in a statement.
Following the parade, there will be a ceremony at the JFK Memorial on Ocean Street at 12:15 p.m.
