Barnstable Music Department's 8th Annual Benefit Concert Chicago
A Must See Concert Supporting Music Education in Our Schools, 8th annual benefit for Barnstable Music.
The Friends of Barnstable Music presents Help Keep Music Education Alive benefit concert January 25 at 7:30 PM at Barnstable Performing Arts Center.
Chicago Total Access tribute band to perform a benefit concert for Barnstable Music Departments. The Friends of Barnstable High School Music are hosting a benefit concert at the Barnstable Performing Arts Center to raise funds for music equipment and educational supplies for the music students in Barnstable.
This event is titled “Keep Music Education Alive.” The “Help Keep Music Education Alive” concert series is the 8th annual benefit concert for the BHS music program. Last year’s annual “Help Keep Music Education Alive” concert raised over $14,000.00 with the Tusk Fleetwood Mac Tribute show and to date the concert series has raised over $94,000.00 for Barnstable music programs.
Concert Promoter Paul Lococo said “Chicago Total Access is the best representation of Chicago with their big sound, this 10 piece band delivers everything Chicago is. The show is complete with big venue sound and lighting equipment.”
Chicago Total Access is a music group made up of 10 talented musicians which all grew up listening to American and British pop/rock, jazz, blues, rhythm and blues, Motown, acid rock and music from the 40’s, the 50’s, the 60’s, and the 70’s as well as classical music from the ages. Our music is dedicated to the music of the American rock band “Chicago”. There is no other American rock n roll band with horns that has influenced more musicians, is loved by millions of people worldwide and has become such a deep part of Americana as the band Chicago. Since 1967, 46 years of sold out concerts, millions of record sales and legions of cheering fans worldwide Chicago is still going strong in 2018. The members of Chicago Total Access have attempted to recreate a slice of the timeless musical catalog of Chicago as well as stay true to the spirit of the original recordings.
