Barnstable Officials To Discuss Replacing Scudder's Boat Ramp
Town officials will also discuss adding new stormwater draining technology to the parking lot.
BARNSTABLE, MA — Towns officials are working on replacing the boat ramp at Scudder's Lane and will hold a public hearing about the project this week.
The meeting is scheduled for 1 p.m., Wednesday, in the James H. Crocker, Jr. Hearing Room at Barnstable Town Hall. Town officials said the plan is to remove the asphalt boat ramp at 210 Scudder's Lane in Barnstable Village and replace it with a concrete ramp. New stormwater draining technology will also be added to the parking lot, town officials said.
Town Councilors Kris Clark and Gordon Starr will facilitate the public hearing and allow residents to give input to ensure the new design serves its users as effectively as possible.
