Barnstable Police Blotter: Feb. 11-13

Shoplifting, fraud and fights kept police busy.

The following incidents, accidents and arrests took place in the town of Barnstable.  All information was taken from the log, includes all arrests and all suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  

 Friday, February 11

12:13 a.m. - A noise disturbance was reported at 8 Seabrook Rd., Hyannis.

12:28 a.m. - An intoxicated person disturbance was reported at Embargo in Hyannis.

1:42 a.m. - Police responded to an assault and battery at 132 Bacon Rd., Hyannis and arrested Frank Howard Lanciani of 132 Bacon Rd. for domestic assault and battery and put him in protective custody.

2:54 a.m. - A suspicious motor vehicle was reported near the old Circuit City building.

7:24 a.m. - A motor vehicle fire was reported at 380 Falmouth Rd. and Bearse's Way. 

8:44 a.m. - Police provided medical assistance to the hospital at 11 Locust St. and 27 Chestnut St., Hyannis.

9:40 a.m. - Vandalism was reported at Cape Cod Commercial Linen Service at 485 West Main St., Hyannis.

1:36 p.m. - Fraud/forgery was reported at 49 Acre Hill Rd., Barnstable.

2:01 p.m. - Harassment was reported at 53 Spring St., Apt. 7, Hyannis. 

2:10 p.m. - Fraud/forgery of a bad check was reported at Black Whale Gallery at 349 Main St. Police issued a summons to Eric P. Gustafson of 110 Old Colony Dr., Mashpee for bad checks.

2:02 p.m. - An accident with personal injury was reported at 1460 Falmouth Rd. and Phinney's Lane.

2:34 p.m. - A larceny was reported at Hess at 50 Ocean St.

2:41 p.m. - Fraud/forgery was reported at 84 Barberry Ln., Marstons Mills.

2:38 p.m. - An accident with personal injury was reported at North Street and Stevens Street Hyannis.

3:16 p.m. - A domestic assault and battery was reported at Radisson Hotel. 

3:28 p.m. - Unwanted harassment was reported at 8 Fresh Holes Rd., Hyannis.

7:29 p.m. - Suspicious activity was reported at 1415 Bumps River Rd.

No Time Available - Suspicious activity was reported at 111 Gooseberry Ln., Marstons Mills.

7:57 p.m. - Larceny was reported at 90 Head of the Pond Ln., Marstons Mills.

8:35 p.m. - Police arrested Vaughn M. Jones of 90 Head of the Pond Ln. after another report of larceny on three outstanding warrants. 

9:46 p.m. - Domestic threats were reported at 8 Fresh Holes Rd., Hyannis.

10:08 p.m. - A disturbance was reported at Cape Cod Hospital.

Saturday, February 12 

12:28 a.m. - Vandalism was reported at 630 Parker Ln., West Barnstable.

12:29 a.m. - A fight disturbance was reported at Tommy Doyle's on Main Street, Hyannis.

12:36 a.m. - A disturbance was reported at 480 Main St. and High School Road.

3:54 a.m. - A suspicious person was reported at 39 Route 130 and 4681 Falmouth Rd., Cotuit. 

3:55 a.m. - A suspicious motor vehicle was reported at Covell's Beach.

10:01 a.m. - Larceny of a motor vehicle was reported at Cape Cod Hospital.

No Time Available - Harassment was reported at 136 Linden St.

11:00 a.m. - Unwanted harassment was reported at 39 Bancroft Cir., West Barnstable.

12:10 p.m. - Suspicious activity was reported at Long Pond Conservation.

12:41 p.m. - The fire department was called to 96 Straightway North for a fire call. 

12:57 p.m. - An abandoned motor vehicle was reported at 156 Sunny Wood Dr.

12:58 p.m. - Police provided medical assistance at C-O-MM. 

2:48 p.m. - A suspicious motor vehicle was reported at 2300 Falmouth Road and Lumbert Mill.

2:41 p.m. - Domestic harassment was reported at Church Bell Apartments.

2:44 p.m. - A shoplifting larceny was reported at Sears. Police arrested Donald Morris Cook of 19 Old South Rd., Apt. 16, Nantucket and Vencia Debrena Campbell of 14 Fresh Holes Rd., Hyannis for shoplifting by concealing merchandise. Police also arrested two juveniles for shoplifting by concealing merchandise.

3:34 p.m. - Shoplifting larceny was reported at Super Stop & Shop on Route 28.

4:16 p.m. - Unwanted harassment was reported at 164 Winter St., Hyannis.

5:07 p.m. - Domestic harassment was reported at 164 Main St., Hyannis. Police arrested Paul Charles Schifino of 164 Main St., Hyannis on two outstanding warrants and put him in protective custody.

5:54 p.m. - A suspicious motor vehicle was reported at Oak and Ivory on Main Street, Osterville.

6:12 p.m. - A disturbance was reported at 48 Fresh Holes Rd., Hyannis.

7:17 p.m. - Harassment was reported at 180 Yarmouth Rd.

7:31 p.m. - An intoxicated person disturbance was reported at Cape Cod Hospital and police put Santiago Fajardo of 77 Winter St. in protective custody.

8:05 p.m. - Suspicious activity was reported at 98 La France Ave., Hyannis.

10:36 p.m. - A domestic restraining order violation was reported at 60 Madison Ave., Centerville. Police issued Ronald Roberts of 379 South St., Apt. 3 a summons for violating a protective order.

11:37 p.m. - A groups disturbance was reported at 42 Seagate Ln.

11:49 p.m. - A disturbance was reported at 163 Hinckley Rd. 

Sunday, February 13

12:25 a.m. - A missing person was reported at 259 Great Marsh Rd.

12:27 p.m. - An intoxicated person disturbance was reported at Cape Cod Hospital. Police put Nathaniel McKenzie of 7 Franklin St., West Yarmouth in protective custody.

1:00 a.m. - A fight disturbance was reported at North Street Parking Lot.

No Time Available - A fight was reported at Tommy Doyle's on Main Street, Hyannis.

1:26 a.m. - A fight disturbance was reported at 19 General Patton Dr.

1:47 a.m. - A domestic assault and battery was reported at the International Inn Cuddle and Bubbles. 

2:02 a.m. - An intoxicated person disturbance was reported at Spanky's Clam Shack.

2:23 a.m. - A noise disturbance was reported at 5 St. Francis Cir.

2:44 a.m. - Police arrested Christopher Carroll of 18 Jill Murray, Carver for domestic assault and battery and intimidation of a witness in connection the assault and battery call placed at 1:47 a.m.

3:14 a.m. - A fight disturbance was reported at 10 Fresh Holes Rd.

4:52 a.m. - A fight disturbance was reported at 8 Fresh Holes Rd and police put Fredy Hercules-Ramos of 43 Hiramar Rd. into protective custody.

12:35 p.m. - Suspicious activity was reported at Best Buy.

12:35 p.m. - Suspicious activity was reported at 34 Dolphin Ln., Hyannis.

2:34 p.m. - Police provided medical assistance to the hospital at Sav-on-Gas on West Main Street.

2:56 p.m. - A suspicious person was reported at 77 Pleasant St., Hyannis.

3:17 p.m. - A commercial breaking and entering was reported at Bangkok Kitchen.

No Time Available - Vandalism was reported at 23 South St.

3:57 p.m. - A fight disturbance was reported at Hess at 50 Ocean St.

5:15 p.m. - Harassment and threats was reported at 69 Cap'n Crosby Rd., Centerville.

5:16 p.m. - A shoplifting larceny was reported at Best Buy. Police arrested Peter O'Connell of 11 Sleepy Hollow Ln., Sandwich on two outstanding warrants and larceny of property more than $250.

5:11 p.m. - Police arrested Karen Daniels of 31 St. Joseph St., Hyannis during a motor vehicle stop on three outstanding warrants. 

6:21 p.m. - A juvenile problem was reported at 100 Curlew Way, Cotuit. 

6:31 p.m. - A fight disturbance was reported at 82 Buckwood Dr. Police put Daniel Lavoie of 82 Buckwood Dr. into protective custody.

7:11 p.m. - A trespass harassment was reported at 1774 South County Rd., Marstons Mills.

8:08 p.m. - Vandalism was reported at 6 Fresh Holes Rd.

7:42 p.m. - Police arrested Frederick Durham of 87 Ridgewood Ave., Hyannis for driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to stop for an office, moving outside of marked lanes and operating a motor vehicle without license in possession.

8:58 p.m. - Suspicious activity was reported on Second Way, Barnstable.

9:42 p.m. - Suspicious activity was reported on Oak Street, West Barnstable.
