Barnstable Police Reunite Man With Stolen Family Heirloom

The bracelet, given to him by his late mother, was stolen from his car nearly three years ago.

BARNSTABLE, MA – A man's family heirloom was returned to him nearly three years after it was been stolen from his car. The man answered a Barnstable Police Department Facebook post about a silver charm bracelet Thursday and was able to describe it in detail, police said.

Hee explained that it was given to him by his late mother, who passed away when he was 12 years old. He had planned to give it to his daughter until it went missing in 2016.

"As it turns out it had been in his car and was stolen as a result of multiple car breaks in his neighborhood," Barnstable police said in a statement. "We are happy to report that the bracelet is now reunited with its rightful owner."
