Barnstable Transformer Fire: 1,300 Go Dark
A transformer fire in Barnstable Thursday cut power to more than 1,300.
BARNSTABLE, MA — A transformer fire in Barnstable Thursday cut power to more than 1,300. As of 2:45 p.m., there were 1,374 Barnstable customers without power. The fire happened on West Main Street, according to police. No injuries were reported. The outage affected several traffic lights along Route 132.
