Barnstable Road Paving Project Alters Traffic Pattern: Here's Where

BARNSTABLE, MA — The Strawberry Hill Road sewer expansion project continues, creating another road closure for the next two weeks.

Work began on Wednesday and lasts through Dec. 9 from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Lawrence Lynch will be reclaiming and paving Craigville Beach Road from Strawberry Hill Road to Covell’s Beach, officials said. The impacted portion of Craigville Beach Road will be closed to thru traffic during these operations.

This initial pavement will be left as the intermediate layer for the winter to improve the roadway for inclement weather conditions with the final paving anticipated for Spring 2023.
