Barnstable Schools Set 2022-2023 Calendar
The Barnstable School Committee approved next year's academic calendar at its Feb. 2 meeting.
BARNSTABLE, MA — Barnstable's School Committee has set the district's 2022-2023 school calendar, school officials said.
The committee approved the calendar at its Feb. 2 meeting.
The school year will begin Wednesday, Aug. 31 for grades 1-12, with school closed Sept. 2 and Sept. 5 for Labor Day.

Classes will resume for all K-12 students Sept. 6.
Pre-K and kindergarten orientation will be Aug. 31 and Sept. 1, and classes will start up for those grades on Sept. 6.

With no snow days, the last day of school would be June 16. With five snow days, it would be June 26. The last day is a half-day for all students.
High school graduation will be on June 3.
