Barnstable Sewer-Related Road Closure Delayed
Site preparation was still on the schedule for Friday, but a road closure on West Main Street has been delayed.

HYANNIS, MA — Sewer installation on West Main Street, from Route 28 to Strawberry Hill Road, has been modified. Site preparation will occur today, Friday, December 8, 2023, requiring single lane alternating traffic, while further excavation and a formal road closure has been delayed. The Department of Public Works will provide additional communication regarding anticipated construction schedules as the project progresses.
