“By joining Operation Green Light, Barnstable County reaffirms its commitment to supporting our veterans and ensuring their contributions are honored,” said County Administrator Michael Dutton. “This simple act of shining a green light lets veterans know they are appreciated and respected in our community.”

Residents, businesses, and organizations are encouraged to participate by changing one light bulb in their home or business to green. This could be an exterior light visible to neighbors or an interior light that sparks conversation. By shining a green light, we remind our veterans that they are seen, appreciated, and supported.
