Barnstable Teen Dies During Basketball Game
The 18-year-old collapsed at the Hyannis Youth and Community Center Tuesday night, authorities said.
A Barnstable teenager died Tuesday night while playing basketball at the Hyannis Youth and Community Center, authorities said.
The Associated Press reported the 18-year-old male collapsed and was in cardiac arrest when first responders arrived. He was pronounced dead at Cape Cod Hospital a short time later, according to the Cape Cod Times.
The teen’s name was not immediately released.
